The FASFHIC is composed of lay Catholics members who seek to live their Christian vocation by embracing the Franciscan Hospitaller Charism of Minority, Hospitality, and Fruitfulness, expressed through works of mercy within their reach.
FASFHIC represents a specific vocation: being disciples of Jesus in the spirit of Francis and Clare of Assisi, inspired by Fr. Raimundo dos Anjos Beirão and Blessed Maria Clara of the Child Jesus, Founders of CONFHIC.
As a Secular Family, FASFHIC embodies a charism of hospitality, fraternity, and service, inviting lay members to live the Gospel through concrete acts of mercy and fraternity. Their mission is to “do good where good needs to be done,” extending care and welcome especially to those most in need.
